This agreement
These terms apply when you use linetab.us, order from us, or start a free trial. By doing any of those things you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a practice, you are confirming that you have authority to bind it.
LineTab LLC is based in Seattle, Washington. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with the information you give us, and forms part of this agreement.
About the product
LineTab is an EPA-regulated dental unit waterline maintenance tablet. It is a professional product, sold to dental practices for use in dental unit waterlines by trained staff.
The product label and instructions for use always control. Everything on this site — the product pages, the guides, the calculators, the templates — is written to support the label, not to replace it. Where anything here appears to conflict with the label or the safety data sheet, follow the label.
What LineTab does and does not do
LineTab is a maintenance product. It is designed to hold a clean baseline after an initial shock treatment. It is not a shock treatment and it does not remove biofilm that is already established on the tubing wall. Lines must be shocked before the maintenance routine begins, as described in how to use LineTab.
Your own obligations do not transfer to us
Using LineTab does not discharge your practice's compliance duties. You remain responsible for:
- Following your dental unit manufacturer's instructions for use and confirming the product is compatible with your equipment
- Testing your waterlines on the schedule your state and your equipment manufacturer require, and documenting the results
- Acting on a failed test, including shocking and re-testing, per your protocol
- Meeting the rules of your state dental board
The guides are not professional advice
Our resource library summarises public guidance from bodies including the CDC, FDA, EPA, and WHO, and cites its primary sources so you can read them yourself. We keep it accurate and we date every source check.
It is educational material, not advice. It is not legal advice, not regulatory advice, and not clinical advice. Waterline requirements differ by state, by board, and by equipment, and they change. Confirm your own obligations with your state dental board and your equipment manufacturer before relying on anything you read here.
The bleach dilution calculator and testing log templates are offered as conveniences. Check any figure they produce against your product label before you use it.
Orders, pricing, and shipping
Prices are in US dollars. A bottle of 100 tablets is $55.00 as a one-time purchase, or $45.00 per bottle on a yearly subscription. Sales tax is calculated at checkout from your address.
- Orders over $100 ship free; below that, shipping is added at checkout.
- We ship within the United States only.
- Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we accept and ship it.
- We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, or if a price or description was published in error. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.
- Promotional codes are single-use unless stated otherwise and cannot be combined.
Returns
Unopened bottles may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price. Because this is a treatment chemical, we cannot accept opened bottles back unless the product was faulty or we sent the wrong item. Contact us before returning anything so we can tell you where to send it. You are responsible for arranging and paying the return postage.
Nothing here limits your rights under consumer protection law where those rights apply.
Yearly subscriptions
A subscription is billed once per year for the quantity you selected, at the subscription price per bottle, and renews automatically until you cancel.
- To cancel, email linetab@linetab.us at least 14 days before your renewal date.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund a year already billed and shipped.
- If we change the subscription price, we will tell you before the change takes effect, and you can cancel rather than accept it.
The free trial
Our trial provides 100 tablets at no cost for a three-month evaluation in your own operatories. There is no card required and no obligation to buy afterwards.
- Trials are for dental practices evaluating the product for their own use, one per practice.
- We may decline a trial request, and we may end the programme or change its terms at any time.
- The trial product carries the same label and the same instructions as purchased product. Use it the same way.
Using this site
The text, guides, photographs, logos, and templates on this site belong to LineTab LLC or our licensors. You may read them, print them, and share them within your practice.
The testing log and SOP templates are meant to be printed, completed, and kept on file — that is what they are for. Beyond that, please do not republish our material as your own, scrape the site in bulk, or use our name or logo to suggest we endorse something we do not.
Where we link to a regulator, a journal, or another external site, we do not control that content and are not responsible for it.
Warranty and liability
We warrant that the product we ship is the product described, is within its shelf life, and has not been damaged in our care. If a bottle arrives damaged or wrong, tell us and we will replace it or refund it.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the site and its content are provided as is. We do not warrant that following our guides will make any particular practice compliant, because compliance depends on your equipment, your water, your protocol, and your state's rules — none of which we control.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of the product or this site is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the version that governs that order. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
