Who we are
LineTab LLC sells dental unit waterline maintenance tablets and publishes the guides in this site's resource library. We are based in Seattle, Washington. This policy covers linetab.us and the ordering, trial, and support activity that runs through it.
Our customers are dental practices. The information we collect is almost entirely business contact information: the name of a practice, the person who handles waterline compliance there, and where to ship a bottle. We do not collect patient records, treatment information, or any other clinical data.
What we collect
When you request a free trial
The form on our trial page asks for, and we receive the following details:
- Name, office name, email address, and ZIP code
- Phone number, if you provide one or ask us to contact you by phone
- Your role at the practice, if you provide it
- Your optional contact preference: email, phone, or no preference
Before submitting, you must confirm that we may email those details to LineTab. The form submits to our server, which emails them to trial@linetab.us. It is not written to a database or a marketing platform. We use it to contact you about the trial and to send the tablets.
When you place an order
Checkout is handled inside our site by Stripe, which collects your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and card details, and calculates sales tax from the address you enter. Orders ship within the United States only.
We never see or store your full card number, expiry, or security code. Those go directly to Stripe. What reaches us is the order itself: what was bought, for how much, and where to send it.
When you contact us
If you email or call, we keep what you send us so we can answer and so the next person who picks up the thread has the history.
What we do not collect
This site runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, and no session-recording or heat-mapping tool anywhere on it. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not know which pages an individual reader has viewed.
Who else handles your information
We use a small number of service providers. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job, and none of them are permitted to use your information for their own marketing.
- Stripe, Inc.
- Payment processing, sales tax calculation, and subscription billing. Receives your payment and address details directly.
- Amazon Web Services
- Delivers the trial request email. Your form submission passes through Amazon Simple Email Service, hosted in the United States, on its way to our inbox.
- Google (YouTube)
- Serves the embedded how-to video in privacy-enhanced mode, only if you play it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
Trial requests and support correspondence stay in our email for as long as the relationship is active, and for a reasonable period after that in case you come back to us.
Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting, tax, and warranty purposes. Stripe keeps its own records under its retention schedule.
If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except where we are required to keep a record of a completed transaction.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Send you a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop contacting you
Email linetab@linetab.us and we will respond. We will not charge you or make you create an account to ask, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Depending on where you live, your state may give you these rights formally, along with a right to appeal if we decline a request. If we turn down a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal.
Since we send commercial email only to people who asked us to get in touch, the fastest way to stop hearing from us is to reply and say so.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Payment details go straight to Stripe, a PCI Service Provider Level 1 processor, and never touch our servers. Trial requests are transmitted over an encrypted connection to our email provider.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a transmission over the internet is immune from interception. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Children
This is a business-to-business site for dental practices. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who handles it, we will update this page and move the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the page itself rather than made quietly.
