Shock once. Dose every refill. Test on schedule.

Start with a clean baseline, then add one LineTab tablet to each 0.75 L reservoir refill while continuing your normal testing cadence.
Before you start

Getting started

To begin using LineTab, your waterlines must first be shocked. LineTab is formulated to prevent new microbial growth in clean systems, but it is not designed to remove existing biofilm. An initial shock ensures your lines start at a baseline of 0 CFU/mL, so LineTab can maintain safety and compliance from there.
Safety note

Do not use splash-free bleach.

Bleach with 5.25%–6.25% sodium hypochlorite: mix 1 part bleach to 9 parts water.

Bleach with 7%–8.25% sodium hypochlorite: mix 1 part bleach to 13 parts water.

One-time shock

Step by step

Work through these once before your first LineTab dose.

    Prepare Bleach Solution

    Mix your bleach solution before running it through the waterlines.

  2. Step 2Shock

    Run Solution Through Waterlines

    Allow the solution to sit in the waterlines for 10 minutes.

    Flush Waterlines

    Rinse the waterlines thoroughly with warm water for 2 minutes.

    Check for Contamination

    If waterlines are heavily contaminated, repeat steps 1-3 until the water exiting the lines tests for 0 CFU/mL.
