If Two Tablets Were Added
Stop the exposure and respond to the symptom rather than debating the odor. Move the person to fresh air for inhalation exposure, rinse affected eyes or skin with water as directed by the label, and obtain exposure-specific medical advice.
CDC describes chlorine as having a strong, irritating odor at harmful exposure levels and lists eye, airway and breathing symptoms among the effects that require attention. A slight familiar smell without symptoms and an unexpectedly irritating exposure are not the same situation.
